Each year SGS runs two outreach events, inviting children from local primary schools to participate in an Art Competition and a Maths Competition. Now in their 12th and 14th years, respectively, these events attract around 350 Year 5 children from over 50 local schools.
The events are designed to inspire and enthuse young artists and mathematicians to push the boundaries of their learning and to celebrate talent.
We are seeking sponsors for these two events to cover the costs of the prizes and participant gifts. Sponsors are invited to attend the events to present the prizes, company logo, and thanks will be included in all correspondence with the schools and their participants and coverage of the events through SGS’s website and social media channels. SGS will host the next Arts Competition on Thursday 13 February 2025 and the Maths Competition on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 June, 2025.
If you are interested in supporting either of these projects or would like more information, please contact the Events & Marketing Officer, Hannah Atenyam, atenyamh@stockportgrammar.co.uk.
