Archives & History

The archives at Stockport Grammar School are an extensive collection of records relating to the history and life of Stockport Grammar School from its foundation in 1487 to the present day.

In celebration of the 100th anniversaroy of Stockport Grammar School's move to the Hallam site in 1916 the Old Stopfordians' Association has pledged an initial generous donation enabling the school to re-establish its archive materials through an online collection and in person. The archives is available to those interested in our former pupils, our buildings, and our history. Access is by appointment throughout the year.

For all enquiries about the collection please contact the Archivist, Stuart Helm, by email externalrelations@stockportgrammar.co.uk.
