2022 proved a year of award success for Figment Agency, an SEO agency owned by Old Stopfordian Emma Grant née Levy (OS 2005) and her husband Steven Grant. Steven and Emma say it’s all been down to a personalised, results-driven approach that’s seen dozens of clients achieve their visions of business growth through literally hundreds of top Google rankings.
Figment Agency began trading in 2006, founded by entrepreneur Steven Grant who started out by knocking on the doors of business owners in his home town of Liverpool, before moving to London to study. Teaming up with fellow graduates, Steven launched the agency just when Google, YouTube and Facebook were breaking ground. A few years later wife Emma joined the team, bringing with her a valuable background in marketing and strategy planning.
Whilst search industry technologies and best practice have changed radically over the years, Figment’s mission has always stayed focused on getting businesses found online and driving business growth.
And it’s been their personalised approach that has propelled them to their own considerable growth, leading them to become one of the most respected and highly rated SEO agencies, and winners of a string of accolades thanks to campaigns that have netted their clients hundreds of top Google positions.
2022 – An award-winning year
2022 was a particularly successful and eventful year for Figment, culminating in the team defeating top level competition to sweep the award for Best Use of Search in Real Estate and Property at the prestigious UK Search Awards in November.
Figment’s winning campaign had resulted in a 1678% increase in organic search traffic, taking their client’s business from zero online visibility to 44 Google top 3 rankings in just six months. The campaign got the team noticed for its expertise in blending just the right strategy of SEO, PPC and digital marketing to drive results.
The UK Search Awards have been celebrating the expertise, talent and achievements of the search industry for over ten years. Subject to strict judging criteria, the awards are regarded as the premiere celebration of SEO, PPC and content marketing.
2022 also saw Team Figment named winners of the Digital, Marketing and Social Media Award at the Kingston Borough Business Awards, and runners-up in the European Search Awards.
Emma Grant commented,
“Coming into 2023 with such a successful year behind us has only made us more determined than ever to be the best SEO partners we can for our clients.
“We’ve invested significantly in building our team recently, and are proud of the amazing pool of expertise we’ve been able to bring together to help fuel our mission of driving growth for the businesses we partner with.”
Steven Grant added,
“From those days spent knocking on business owners’ doors selling the merits of having a website, to running an award-winning business in the age of artificial intelligence and the Metaverse, we’ve come a long way. But we’ve never lost sight of the importance of the client partnership approach, of providing clear and honest advice, and of delivering a completely personalised service.
“We look forward to the opportunities – and to weathering the inevitable challenges – of 2023, and to helping even more businesses achieve their growth goals.”
