The first ever SGS Giving Day is happening across 18-19 March. Join us as we bring the SGS community together to raise support for the Bursary Fund and celebrate giving back! The Bursary Fund is immensely important to the School and we have a long tradition of providing financial support to brilliant young people.
Over the two days, pupils and staff will be taking part in challenges to show our support and win House points. The Senior School will be competing to find the fastest House through a 100ft inflatable obstacle course whilst the Junior School will be learning to play Quidditch - quaffles and snitches included, although no flying will be allowed. And some staff members will be facing the ultimate challenge, all to be revealed soon!
Old Stops and parents can also help their House from home. The Shelfie Reads Challenge, launching on World Book Day, 5 March, and ending on 23 April is a House competition to see which House can read the most books during that time. In the first two weeks of this challenge, from 5-19 March, Old Stops and parents can help their House to win the Shelfie Reads Challenge by emailing us what book you've read, and what House you are in! We'll announce which House read the most books at the end of the Shelfie Reads Challenge.
