In Memory |
Jon, whose son Kristian left Stockport Grammar in 2023, was a member of the Buildings Committee as well as the Main Board of Governors.
Committed to enriching the pupils’ school experience and SGS’s support for the wider community of Stockport, he regularly attended concerts and drama productions and worked in support of the school’s Artsmark Platinum Award. He will be greatly missed by the school community.
Jon was a partner in a national commercial law firm and was also a highly respected international athletics technical official, officiating at the Olympics and the Paralympics. Read an article from England Athletics about Jon’s passing. Our thoughts are with Jon’s family.
