This year’s Summer Soirée was a truly memorable evening, bringing together parents, friends, alumni and supporters of the School in a shared commitment to raising money for the SGS Bursary Fund.
Held in the beautiful surroundings of Bramhall Park Golf Club, the event provided a wonderful opportunity for guests to come together, celebrate the strength of the SGS community and support a cause that makes a lasting difference to the lives of young people. The evening reflected the generosity, enthusiasm and sense of belonging that are at the heart of our School.
Guests enjoyed an evening of live entertainment, fundraising activities and great company, with an atmosphere that was both vibrant and welcoming. Throughout the event, there was a clear appreciation of the important role that bursaries play in ensuring that talented and deserving pupils can benefit from an SGS education, regardless of their financial circumstances.
The Summer Soirée also served as a powerful reminder of the transformative impact that bursary support can have. By helping to remove financial barriers, the SGS Bursary Fund opens doors to opportunities that can shape pupils’ academic journeys, personal development and future aspirations. Every contribution made on the evening will help to support young people in reaching their full potential and becoming active members of the SGS community.
We are delighted to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, sponsored or supported the event, the Summer Soirée raised an impressive £12,500 for the SGS Bursary Fund. This fantastic achievement will help the School continue its commitment to widening access and providing life-changing opportunities for pupils who may otherwise not have the chance to benefit from all that SGS has to offer.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who contributed to the success of the evening. Your support will make a meaningful difference to current and future bursary recipients, ensuring that the values of opportunity, inclusion and excellence continue to thrive at SGS.
