Old Stopfordian Dr Mark Cox (OS 2013) has launched a new podcast series 'The Straight Talking Doctor', featuring guest speakers such as Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing, author Hope Virgo, model Harrison Griffiths, Mental Health Advocate, Dr Kieran Kennedy, ex-professional Rugby player, David Jackson and many more.
The podcast is dedicated to improving listeners' health and happiness.
Mark tells us:
I decided to start the podcast to help open up the conversation around mental health as well as to simplify the overly-complicated world of wellness and health.

After leaving Stockport Grammar School in 2013, Mark studied at Newcastle University and qualified in 2018. Mark worked at Stepping Hill Hospital for his 2 foundation years, spending some time working in the Intensive Care Unit during the first wave of the Covid pandemic. Following this he spent a year on the covid wards in the Manchester Royal Infirmary and is currently working at the Royal Free Hospital in North West London in the Respiratory department.
