Dr Jessica Piasecki née Coulson (OS 2008) announced this week that she will be retiring from professional running. To mark this occasion, we thought that we'd take a look back on Jessica's glittering international career, beginning at age 16, when she was a pupil at SGS.
Amongst Jessica’s accolades, she was the European Cross Country Champion (under 23s) in 2012, won the Florence Marathon in 2019, holding second place on the British all-time Marathon list (second only to Paula Radcliffe), and was selected for Team GB for the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
As Jessica prepares to hang up her running shoes, we have been looking back at our interview with her for Old Stops Review in 2013. You can join us in following her fantastic career on our website.
We wish you the very best in your next challenge Jessica!
