Huge congratulations to Emily Edwards who recently represented Wales at the women's EuroHockey U21 Championship II-A. The competition took place in Rakovnik, Czechia, and saw Wales face Czechia, Italy and Lithuania in early rounds to reach the final.
Wales clinched a last-minute thriller to eventually claim gold against the hosts, with a 3-2 win in what was a dramatic final. Their victory sees the team earn entry to the 2025 FIH Junior World Cup and a spot in the 2026 European A Division Championships.
Well done to Emily and her teammates on a successful championship!
