Alumni News |
On Thursday 14th March we were delighted to welcome back into school a group of Old Stops from the class of 1964, along with some of their relatives. We were also very glad to be joined by Jean Haworth and Renate James, the widows of two dearly remembered Old Stops, John Haworth and Peter James.
The group enjoyed a delicious lunch followed by a tour of SGS which reignited fond memories from school days past. In the evening, they met for dinner at The Stanneylands hotel in Wilmslow, where they continued much reminiscing and merriment.
We are always delighted to see Old Stops reuniting and returning to school. These get togethers play a significant part in continuing to strengthen connections within our marvellous alumni community.
