Old Stop Jamie Carson enjoyed a brief moment in the limelight on a German news programme discussing the effects of Brexit on Erasmus, the European student exchange programme. Jamie is currently studying for a degree in modern languages at the University of Cambridge however spent the last academic year studying at Humboldt-Universität in Berlin. In this short clip, Jamie discusses how beneficial his year of study in Europe has been and his enjoyment of it.
Jamie is a fantastic linguist having studied both French and German at A Level here at SGS. We are delighted to hear he has had the opportunity to apply his German language skills in a native speaking country as part of his degree and wish him all the best for the remainder of his studies at Cambridge.
