We were pleased to welcome former pupils (from left to right) Brian Orpet, David Seddon, John Richardson, John Turner, Anthony Watson, and Gordon Macconell back to school as they celebrated 70 years since they joined SGS as First Years!
The Old Stopfordians were joined in the Governors’ Room by new Head Mrs Sarah Capewell and a number of Sixth Formers.
Many conversations were had comparing the differences from each other’s time at SGS – most notably the inclusion of girls, popular sports played at SGS and how prefects carried out their duties.
The group are looking forward to celebrating their 75-year anniversary in 2028.
If you would like to have a reunion with your year group, please email External Relations.
