Congratulations to Artist and Old Stopfordian Kate O'Brien (OS 2000) who has been nominated for The Artisan Awards.  On receiving the news Kate shared:

Wow I’m absolutely chuffed to bits to have been shortlisted for the awesome The Artisan Awards Keep your fingers crossed for me everyone! 

The Artisan Awards are the only awards system in the UK who are aimed specifically at independent businesses within the handmade sector.

The awards are judged by industry professionals who are experienced within the field of the category they are judging.

There are 15 categories for the awards and the criteria for these can be found on the relevant page for each division.
