This summer we are running three Senior School Taster Days for Year 5 children from local primary schools on Wednesday 24th May, Thursday 25th May and Tuesday 13th June. The days will be focused around a series of fun and educational activities.
On the day, the children will be assigned to one of three groups, each group will take part in four lessons designed to help children meet new friends, sample new educational experiences and come away enthused about senior school life.
Lunch and all refreshments are provided, there is a wide choice of options to suit most tastes and dietary requirements.
At the end of the day, children are to be collected from the hall where there will be a number of displays about life at Stockport Grammar School and members of the teaching staff will be available to talk to children and parents should you have any questions.
We would be delighted if your child would like to join us. The day will run from 9am to 3pm. Booking is essential – please complete the online booking form.
All equipment for the lessons is provided and children are to wear casual clothes with trainers so that they are comfortable and able to take part in a PE session.
