The Manchester-born left-hander scored over 1,000 runs for Widnes last season despite the side’s Premier League relegation.
He scored five 50s and a century, averaging 32.28 with the bat.
The former Stockport Grammar pupil, who has also played for Monton, was one of Lancashire’s Academy intake for 2019 and played for Cheshire last season.
